The following poem was written after seeing a new born protesting....probably hungry or wet.....maybe both!
  
This Time.
Brought into this world from some other.
Naked, lost, and held by strange, twin limbed, dwarves.
Screaming in terror at the yawning teeth filled mouths
firing auditory canons, rattling your jelloid empty brain.
Your sight not yet lucid.
The covering?
Alien and new.
You sense movement,
you cringe in fear -
but no harm comes -
This Time.
Perhaps,
This Time,
it wont be quite so bad.
Maybe,
This Time,
you will be strong and powerful.
Not the Robotic Ant of several lives past.
That insignificant speck,
dumped on an 'oh so important' hill.
Oh for the god Santa Claus!
to protect you
or the savior promised,
to make you squeaky clean
or if all else fails,
at least give a guide book
and a starting balance.
All men are created equal,
somewhere.
This Time,
most are not so well balanced.
