In reply to an article in Scottish Sunday Express 5/1/2003
"It is the province of knowledge to speak, and it is the privilege of wisdom to listen" Dr.Oliver Wendell Holmes
This article is written in direct response to that penned by Derek Lambie and published in the Scottish Sunday Express of January 5th 2003. The article in question mentions a book - 'Princess Diana - The Hidden Evidence'. The book itself was written by Jon King and John Beveridge, two investigative journalists who were provided with information by intelligence sources and uncovered additional information in the course of their investigations.
Is Mr. Lambie's article an objective attempt to inform the public of the issues raised within the book in question?
DEATH OF A PRINCESS
The vast majority of people I have spoken to regarding the 'accidental' death have expressed the same opinion - there is something 'not quite right' in the event and something 'not quite right' in the subsequent enquiry.
Prior to reading the book myself, I had expressed the opinion that the death of Princess Diana and Dodi Fayed that fateful night was 'extremely convenient'. ( This without the information subsequently brought to light within the above book).
Were Princess Diana and Dodi Fayed the victims of assasination?
The book itself provides information and leaves the reader to come to their own conclusions.
HRH PRINCE MICHAEL OF ALBANY
HRH Prince Michael of Albany, according to Mr Lambie, is using 'bogus Royal credentials to fuel sinister conspiracy theories about the death of Princess Diana.'
The credentials of HRH are actually irrelevant in regard to the death, accidental or otherwise, of Princess Diana.
Anyone who cares to take the time and put in the effort will, I am sure, come to a rather different conclusion to the one voiced by Mr Lambie regarding the credentials of HRH Prince Michael.
I would, however, like to point out the following :-
HRH Prince Michael of Albany is a British citizen and has been issued with a Passport from the British Government in the name of ''HRH Prince Michael James Alexander Stewart of Albany'. Surely Mr. Lambie should address his opinions to that Establishment concerning the Prince's 'bogus Royal credentials'?
Anyone who has an interest can read more regarding this at Link to Ancestry of HRH Prince Michael of Albany and other information
Another pointer to the legitimacy of HRH Prince Michael's claim is the fact that he was awarded the
'United Nations 2001 Volunteer Service Medal for Dedicated Commitment to Humanitarian Causes'. I am certain that the United Nations dont make awards to individuals without being satisfied as to their identity
Rather than make any attempt in the conversion of others to his cause, I would suggest that people approach the subject with an open mind and heart.
'There is a principle which is a bar against all information, which is proof against all arguments and which cannot fail to keep a man in everlasting ignorance - that principle is 'contempt prior to investigation''. Herbert Spencer
Much information is available at HRH Prince Michael of Albany's own website at The Royal House of Stewart
THE HOUSE OF WINDSOR (SAXE-COBURG-GOTHA)
It appears that the article written by Mr. Lambie is based on information provided to him by a Mr. John Kennedy, 'publisher of the Almanach de Gotha, the Who's Who of Royalty in Europe'. The impression given is that Mr. Kennedy is an 'expert' in Royal lineages and geneolgy.
I would recommend that interested parties do a little research on the Almanach de Gotha and then form their own opinion as to how objective information provided by its publisher must be.
For help with this, I include the following link.....
Almanach de Gotha
The following article is about capricious pseudo-historians of Chivalry and is the only article of its kind that exposes the agendas, attitudes, tricks, and techniques used by Assassins and Grumps whose "hobby" is to attempt to defame Orders and Noble and Royal Houses:-
Assassins and Grump
It may, of course, be purely coincidental that the present British Monarchy is from the House of Saxe-Coburg-Gotha (which changed its name to Windsor in 1917).
In conclusion, the article published by the Scottish Sunday Express is an extremely biased piece of reporting - more akin to propaganda than reporting. The people of Scotland have been fed biased viewpoints for a long time - surely now is the time for our 'Scottish' press to at least present a fair and unbiased account of events.
If this is the standard we can expect from the journalists associated with this publication then I for one would be more than happy to see the word 'Scottish' removed from its title.
